Biography
Mr. Angerhofer was born in South Dakota and raised in the Western Slope of Colorado, where he graduated
from Montrose High School. He is a Vietnam veteran, having served four years in the U.S. Navy. After an
honorable discharge from the Navy, he went to Yugoslavia and Austria as a religious representative for the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mr. Angerhofer moved to Utah and obtained a bachelors degree in Economics from BYU and a bachelors
degree in Russian from the University of Utah. Advanced degrees include an MBA from the Marriott School
at BYU and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah. Languages spoken include Russian, German and
Serbo-Croatian, as well as English.
Mr. Angerhofer is admitted to practice in both Utah and Colorado. He is also admitted to
practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Angerhofer provides legal services for juveniles and parents in Sanpete, Sevier and
Millard County juvenile courts. He also represents defendants in Sanpete District and
Justice Courts. Mr. Angerhofer provides civil rights and habeus corpus assistance to state
inmates at the Utah State prison in Gunnison and at various county jails in Utah.
Prior experience includes: Salt lake County Conflicts Public Defender, Utah County Conflicts
Public Defender, Tooele County Public Defender, Psychiatric Security Review Board attorney for
mental patients, Hearing Officer for the Utah State Tax Commission and Hearing Officer for the
Salt Lake County Board of Equalization.
Sanpete County
Mr. Angerhofer and his wife Elaine
currently live on a small farm in
Sanpete County, Utah, where he
grows hay and permits sheep
grazing. The place is called
Mountainville Farms.
